Refreshing white to greet my morn
to taste of a childhood day
to angelwing the memories
when all
was there for play.

To meet you then in youthful times
a me, to bring about
secrets of the neverbeknown
the gone of any doubt.

Refreshing, yes, the  bright of morn
the freezing of those tears
invisible, blanks
to be filled with new
to erase tomorrows' fears.

To meet you then, my youthful times
breaking through that hold
leave me not on distant shores
let dying arms unfold...

Refreshing this, a morn to please
the coldness warms this heart
Let it...Let it...
Let it snow~~~
to plant this Winter's start.

M

running red galoshes
sliding snow angels
sipping cocoa
without a care in the world

Yes, Hope, it is my house...the snow globe made for me by another poet friend a few years back...but the scene is the same...thanks for remembering.

I just finished shoveling and chatting with other neighbors doing the same...one of the things I love about small town living.

And I finally have heat now after 3 weeks of sawing and loading wood into a woodstove, so the plumber/heating expert came just in time...and the flu has finally flown... so things are looking up
