Between the Lines

I pace myself into today,
the cold no longer numbing
but my yielding still lost to you.

The bleakness of my strength
drips memories, too tired of their
recurrence, sometimes
turning to maybes and maybes to
someday...that day that never arrives.

I've allowed you that space
which you have allowed me
seeming too double lately
stretching tomorrow too far
for my grasp.

The silent of me is escaping...
but does "anyone" hear?

It is so hard when no one seems to be listening hon, I know this all to well.
Heart hugs to you.

There seems a lot unsaid here.
