Take Me Home ************ So much of me that longs to be with You up there. To leave this world behind and go without a care. To be wrapped in Your love and never to look back. That thought brings so much peace and joy, it doesn't lack. Your love means so much more than what I could find here. It makes me laugh, makes me cry and calms all of my fears. I find it hard to wait and be stuck in this place. Please come and take me Home into Your saving grace. Inspired by Michael Auguste and my Grandmother [Mary Alice Morgan] - both of which were very sick in 2004 and the whole time I knew them...they always shared and expressed their faith in the Father! I know they are both resting in peace now and completely happy without the pain and sorrow caused by the people and planet around them. I look forward to seeing them on the Other Side!! I do feel that same way at times as you have expressed here in your poem. Though I may be left with longing, still, I do find much comfort in knowing that where my loved ones have gone I will go to be with them one day also... God bless and thank you for sharing this beautiful poem. -Bob |
