inadequate,
yes

my voice . . .

sometimes

when eloquence is sought
but simplicity is wrought
and I wish for a silver tipped pen
that would flow in filigree
and finery
but --

I see only the etchings
of a would be master
and I wonder . . .

s.a.t.

If I wander far enough, long enough, will I finally know . . .

I do not see a would-be master Susan. You are very accomplished at putting to this paper canvas such lovely images. It touches mee deeply each time I pause a moment to read your works.

Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history!

Susan, there is nothing other than pure, 100
percent quality that comes from your poetry.
All from the heart and totally sincere...
Those say much to me about the poet and person.

On a junction escape screamed eloquence simplicity bareness baseness brought me friends who sought nothing else

In their minds they wrote their lives

that would flow in filigree
and finery
but --

I see only the etchings
of a would be master
and I wonder . . .

Words and I dont hope you mind my words.

You took me back to a film based around Clapham Junction.

regards

Dave

Each reply touches me and what a gift I have in your friendships - I guess there are just times when it seems the flow does not flow and, well, I don't know - it's hard to put into words - love you all -

Dear Susan, you expressed this feeling masterfully.

Every now and then doubts arise .... but luckily they don't stay forever, otherwise who would write at all?

With every poem we attempt to convey adequately what we see or feel ... but perfection eludes us, perfection of what is is undescribable. But we can have glimpses of perfection and isn't that enough to rejoice?

Love and hugs.
