My hands cup then Into my pocket they jump The right time wonders Tickling my side Taking me to another part of the universe Showing me the demons of falling short The playful side of wonder works and A sinful side of pushing to much Attending my own party Where I know love lives Oh for the perils of expectation There are other options Other sides other places to be.... Walking a tight rope takes practice Oh for the pearls of balance Giggling and knowing where happy lives Whoopse, slipped again Arms now out to the side Thanks to a poet friend Who wrote it in stone Cuz sometime, when your connected It’s harder to read Those last minute air fairs Thanks to you...hugs and kisses Now now now, slow down, take a deep breath...thats it, no harm done...just a friend to a friend You know who you are.....tee hee |
