when the rains came
I prayed to the padre
for umbrellas and coffee
he referred me

to the mary
with hollow eyes
and the habit
much worse than mine

but I knelt anyway
and left gifts at her feet
she said green
was her favorite color

next to gray
and stone
was her favorite lover
and she was just a statue

on someone else's grave

Whoa.....!!!!

Heard more on the news last night bout the mudslides and heavy rains...Gosh, such goings on in the world weather wise...I'm wishing you and yours safe and warm...

Thank you for sharing your insight and artistic skills, of which, a morning wouldn't be morning without you there.

Hugs

The sensitive giving side
showing again...
like warm leather and
tired sighs...

Again, I see through your eyes -

gotta laugh at inky - playing in the mud - mmmmhmmm,
and D - the new photo- you don't scare me - but can say Boo anytime (hehe)

It must feel like a bad dream, a reoccurring one at that, for those who live there.
Sadly, I'm afraid that charming little town is destine for the sea.

You write it nice, DS~
