Earth, oh earth, sick in the stomach,
Because of a hiccup,  you are named a devil;
Called the creators punisher...

But I ask..

What God is at your wheel if any?
You who kills without thought or feeling,
Remorse, delight or sorrow
Those who disobey your laws,
By simply being in the way?

And who is the bigger Satan,
Choosers of death, that kill
To gain ground or politics,
Or you by indifference?

You have no choice in the matter,
Earth, turning, turning
Sometimes spinning out of control.

Meanwhile:

Children are blown to bits
In New York, Somalia and Babylon
By the hands of devious animals,
In the name of God and country.

I can forgive you, brainless earth,...but not them.

Ford, it's an honor to have written one that inspired this piece. It reflects my mindset exactly.
Yes, Nature gives, nature takes away...but even when I write of 'Her' in praise and anger sometimes, I don't really believe S(he)has human intentions of good or evil.
Thank you, for this write.
