Tsunami at the top of the list
wonder what tragedy hasn't been missed
a cigarette puff in a public place
town hall picketed for lack of green space?

Issues rise and fall before the viewer
epoch events tend to appeal as though newer
tragedies that occured at the beginning of time
long before your first declaration "It's mine".

In my "Belle Province"tsunamis are at number 10
not enough surveyed feel it to be monumental then;
mere 400 out of thousands of seats were occupied for Tsumani memorial
government expectations for a wide turnout is short of dictatorial.
where were lead politicians at the peel of the bell
waiting for another cataclysm to fill local wells?

Tsunami still on top of the charts
now a staple word in the English language
what other tragedies have been just as catastrophic
perhaps in smaller doses
that occured at the dawn of recorded time
long before one walked about to declare "It's mine"!

so sad

add starvation
homelessness
incest
brutality
environmental degradation
...
political correctness
...

keep your eyes on the sparrow
for the ones who know how to fly away
just might survive

The political correctness is another digusting truth here with out PM going public in matching privately raised funds a week after the tragedy...what a mockery!
