Across the vast and wide divide
between two lovers waiting stance
A melody does softly glide
till eyes do meet in fiery glance.

The raging winds that leap the gap
do echo well their aching thought
and brings to air a rending clap
of passion’s thunders sorely sought.

Till gusts of chance do lightly blow
and bring from each a stifled moan
two loves shall waltz in heated glow
and soar as one on breezes flown.

And then the world shall grasp and hide
the light that jostles early morn
as one they arch in lusty glide
till what once was is then reborn.

Nicely done! Great rhyme scheme and imagery.  Long distance relationships can be so fervent.  Ken

I have been enchanted by your words since the very first time I read one of your poems.  You never cease to amaze me.
