The Minds Eye A Buddha stands upon my desk It looks to most a look burlesque Where head and stomach and the bag Are triads of a super tag They shape to me a balanced die A necessary to the vie The nuisance to the dance of fife A balance to this way of life The head, the smile, the bellies roll The bag to pay the pipers toll The inference of toll and goal The path on which to find his soul A happy smile his way of go To tread the rainbow of his sew A happiness of mind and rhyme To fill the essence of his time It’s all in place a journeys need A mental grace a bag of seed |

I immediately began to think about a restaurant where I meet one of my favorite friends sometimes. There's a BIG Budha standing just as you walk in to be seated. Everytime I pass him I rub his belly and it makes me giggle -- 'course, it makes my friend laugh, too. Much enjoyed. .....jo |
