Vancouver is white!

We just love Snowfall warnings

Time for us to play!

~*~

(These were taken at 10:00 this morning out my front and back doors.)

Believe it or not, the top picture should show an ocean, and downtown Vancouver, but it is hidden by snow.

The second should show a mountain range also hidden by snow.

Yeah! Whoo hooo!

Mysteria,
Your more than welcome to take the snow I got. I'd rather have warm weather, green grass, leaves on the trees.
The pictures are pretty though.

We got dumped on again last night and had a Weather Warning up Sharon...
I can see you'll be going 'tubing' again..LOL.
You are one wild and crazy Canuck!
Wish we lived closer!
Sending warm hugs your way!

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
An invincible summer.

Actually you should see my crazy neighbours out there, they are cross-country skiiing on the streets!  Honestly when you live on a mountain and you have to "pay" to go up to see snow, this is a real treat for us, we all love it, and it's free!

Nancy Lee, you got it!  We are going tubing after Todd gets off work.  My sore muscles are still sore, so might as well just continue I guess to inflict pain on myself, as it is my New Year's plan to get into shape.

Oh but it is SO beautiful!  Like a postcard, and I am always so thankful for seasons.  In the scheme things, it is days like this make me so grateful to be alive.  Sure makes you feel so terribly tiny in comparison to the wonders of nature, and the marvels of our Creator.

Enjoying the youthful enthusiasm here. Lots of folks don't realize that Vancouver, though in Canada, is much like nearby Seattle and doesn't get too much accumulation. Denied your usual superb view you simply enjoy what's been handed you. Good for you.

My life is just so good!  It just doesn't get any better than playing in the snow with "my girls."

Hope everyone has a wonderful, memorable day in whatever weather you are in.

Sorry they are not that clear Dixie, but when you reduce from high resolution they distort so easily.  Brother, I was thinking today looking at them, just image a mother or grandmother in Sri Lanka who doesn't even know today if their child is even still alive.  Makes the moments even more special you know?  Sad we have to feel people's pain to finally get hold of our blessings isn't it?

Have a great night!

It is beautiful isn't it Sharon?!
And the grandkids do have a way of keeping us young .... and our aging bones aching. lol.
The only drawback concerning the snowfall is that my dogs legs are so short, I have to shovel pathways all around our backyard so that she can "do her thing" without disappearing from sight!! Hugs!

I guess oceans and mountain ranges are no match for winter's white.  I like your photos, and you are welcome to all the snow.  I don't want any.

It is sort of awful here to be honest, LOL.  Very icy driving conditions actually.  We have the natonal snowboard championships on at Whistler, and it is very scary driving on the roads.

I had the girls last night and it was snowing, so we played out in it - beautiful, but later it turned to rain, and of course the cold now envelopes us in an icy cocoon once more.  I still prefer this to heat any day.  I just love seasons period!

I'm jealous, you got the white fluffy stuff!
We had two days of ice, everything sealed up tight. Saturday, it was...an interesting drive out to the barn. What is usually a muddy road was as solid as concrete, reminding me of Alaska days when it froze to sub zero once or twice without any snow on the ground. Now we will get back into the 40's today
