~~*~~
Music is all around, flowing through breeze of air
Giving to those who listen, a desire to share
Wanting others to feel, of what we have a part
Music lives within us, dwelling inside our heart

There are many varieties, of which we might prefer
Styles we never liked before, make surprise to us  occur
For feelings come from somewhere, when note or word we feel
Enters into our being, bringing a touch to heal

Heart is found within music, written in sound or word
Giving of self to all, who have taken time and heard
Being made to feel the rhythm of, as we sway in dance
Listening to the music, does romance enhance

The words of song touch heart, as does sweet poetry
Bringing inner feeling of peace and love, given tenderly
When hearing the sound of music, if in heart we will receive
Tensions of life within us, music helps to relieve

Yes, heart is found within music, written in sound or word
Giving of self to all, who have taken time and heard
Having a healing touch, as into the spirit will enter
Going deep within us, into our beings center

Ethel Mae, your words are melodic and mellifluous! They were music to my ears!

Your poetry is always so pretty! ~ Just like you!

OMG You are so creative and talented with both your graphic imagery and your word imagery. Yes, poetry and music are both the same as you have described and I love to do both write while listening to beautiful beautiful music in the background. A most perfect marriage I think. -Bob

When we are able to hear the music within, dear Ethel, like you do, then we are attuned to the magic of Universe.

Very beautiful!

Love and hugs.
