Morning glorys line the path
A welcoming committee of color
From palest lavender
To brilliant cobalt blue
They all say
You

I feel you here
You've walked these very steps
My cells celebrate you nearness
Denying the claim of crystal skies
That you are far away

I sit and absorb
The sound of surf on shore
And hope you hear the whisper
Of your name.

Oh wow...
You know, anyone who would want
to feel that whisper,
can, now.

Love's an elusive thing when we look for it....but sometimes it's just there and damned if we know why. Damned if I know why, but it's there, among the morning glories, carved in the air like initials of the lovers who passed there, or may some day.

this is just like the catch of breath of something so beautiful you don't want to breathe lest it leave.....
so perfect I wanted to hurry to the end, but once I got to the end, I didn't want it to end anymore.....I wanted to hold on to the feeling

There is such a lovely poignancy in your phrasing. There is such beautiful promise here.

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light

Just because I like it -- and you! Your voice gets stronger and stronger, and your eyes deeper but softer. This is true beauty.
