When in moments
stolen from fairytale dream,
we hold our tongues and give some
significance to the sound
that only waits the next seizure out,

under cedar boughs and such,
the sway of the cradle
at the vertigo height
of inert teardrops. drop
the stout limbs laden beyond
what the arms were meant to carry, alone,

the hands in exile
from the heart, close
in thick_black_fists_pummel
into the glove of my chest, let
what rises, live
with what descends,

each word, a cruel
unbuckling of a belt,
at the command that crushes
all parts of speech,
to a sole vowel, and begs
the question in that brutal retort
you thought, only you
could give, again
and again,

when
in moments stolen
under a lotus moon,
the shadows
under cedar boughs
grow long,
late in the afternoon,

and the odors of honeysuckle
sway the laden cradle
at the crisis over congruent sorrows,
stand so still,
as sentinels, twin
to the gallows.

Dark, with ominous rustlings...
Everthing a fairytale needs.

And yes...its own imponderabilia

Damned fine write

I find every story has a balance of good and evil ...

...your's wells of the heart of it all.

Enjoyed very much, look forward to more!

"each word, a cruel
unbuckling of a belt,"

a startling and chilling visual that so aptly conveys a powerful auditory impact.

Absolutely brilliant

Interesting plays in contrast - over all a mood of forboding - but for a brief moment there, under the lotus moon, one is lost in the beauty of your words
