There’s Naught in This World I’d Rather Do

I love you sweetheart and here ‘tis professed,
That my being doth know naught but unrest,
This yearning that creeps from depths of soul,
Seek’st thy soft kiss in the breath you stole.

Hunger, yea’s been long wedded to mine arms,
For I dear this night would taste of your charms,
To a bed of frippery I’d swift thee,
Trimmed in crepe de chine if thou would’st agree.

Wisteria beloved I’d plait in thy hair,
Perfumes from France sweet I’d bring’st thee to wear,
My eyes would caress thee with naught but love,
For thou art the one I think the world of.

‘Twas never wrong to love one so complete,
To ply dalliance in odes writ indiscreet,
These are but the words I’d whisper this night,
May our souls of want they forthwith ignite,

There’s naught in this world I’d rather do,
Then slowly, tenderly, make love to you.

Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history!

The feeling of these words as read wrap the reader in all that is sought from one heart to another.
Excellent write.
May your dreams come true.

I think you must be one of my favorite romantics - you write love so beautifully-
