Just Sitting I sit the bank of chaos grime Kick my feet to the flow of time Breathe the flower of its power Living my chaotic hour Weaving threads of poets goal To make a shawl about my soul Yet knowing well chaotic rule I cannot help but be the fool Hapless bubbles ride the air Making rainbows of despair As colored hues of clouds fly bye Each fluff the crying of a sigh The tears of chaos rain in rhyme And fall into the river time That makes of them a brine of tea To change into a change to be I drink to thee the rivers toll And roll with thee forever’s goal. |
