Today, a song came to shore
With marrow and flute
Tasting warm like the sun
Handing me a sweater
Twinkling us like awakening stars
Living this day, again…only this time
Turning up the volume
Of clairvoyant searching
We need’nt know, intent to reason
Cuz I watched you, while you were sleeping
You smiled, you know, no pain tonight
And that high mountain wall
Sheds a winter blossom
Perhaps this time...perhaps this time
We’ll stumble in the right direction
You and me…
Unlike our other lovers
Whose breath faded from our hearts
I’d like to remember our greatest accomplishments
The one blade of grass which smiled green
A truly remarkable feeling
Someday my friend
We’ll both find someone to love
Come, we’ll fit within the shadow's glare
But change the years spent searching
Trying, and the blue lights shall flicker faintly
To the senses of our heartbeats
I am not her, nor can I be
But….I will love you through your thoughts
eternally...eternally
Or is it the want of something you cannot have?
Please know the scent of 'my' perfume
And become but a thread of the darkness
Your famine my love, is over
Dare you trust?
Dare you speak?
Dare you allow this moment...

"Dare you trust?
Dare you speak?
Dare you allow this moment..."

I find myself wondering what the world would be like if all of us could dare these things instead of always being so guarded.  Another lovely write from your pen.  Happy New year - may all your dreams come true.  Yes, well, we know about "them there" dreams, don't we?

LeeJ,
I know not how others feel when they read you, but you rattle my bones and play havoc with my breathing.

Sounds like Aphrodite has found her Paris, but cannot touch him, except in a dream..
Dreams are just that way, like Gods and Goddesses, they can be perfect...

"Dare you trust?
Dare you speak?
Dare you allow this moment..."

No, do not dare in the physical; the fantasy will be soiled if it becomes a reality...(MHO)

Indeed, an enjoyable read...
