I like
watching you think,...
giving those cells of yours
value.

In harsh light,
pondering a poem,
those of your face,
suffused with years of thinking,
soften the glare.

Because
in bed,
naked as crabs
outside our shells,...
I like that it takes
such simple keys

to open a world where the sky is blue

and roses
bloom all year.

Beautiful thought...absolutely beautiful.

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
An invincible summer.

(one of the best.  you wrote so wonderfully.
be careful the eyes...tree has many eyes, some may belong to human or ? )

I like
watching you think,...
giving those cells of yours
value..... (I love the expression of gift.)

In harsh light,
pondering a poem,
those of your face,
suffused with years of thinking,
soften the glare.
( harsh/soften... the inter-reaction of light of Bulb and light of thinking)

Because
in bed,
naked as crabs
outside our shells,...
I like that it takes
such simple keys....
(I like that you mentioned this in a very casual way...in fact it is the simple cells's work to sense a blue sky and to imagine a rose blooming year arround...in CA it is. In Il it is not. and how perfectly use the word of KEY then OPEN..so poetically express the view of a poet.

to open a world where the sky is blue

and roses
bloom all year.

(wonderful, sooooo beautiful)
