Night falls the squalls of silver air
On parquet walks in silent stare
Committed to the moon she bows
To empty out all time allows

About me in the frosted blows
Bemoans the echo heaven knows
A page torn out and sent in sigh
Delivered shivered pressed and dry

But not too further could be caught
Cinched up in hope of heartstrings taut
My fingers wrapped of kite tail string
So cold the bold of winter’s sting

Hand over hand this dream drawn back
Held sacred here through luster’s lack
To warm again with ease to spare
Night falls the squalls of silver air

And till the wintry wonder lies
upon the warming windless earth

where was I?  Darn,  an excellent write K.
The rhyme and meter are splendiforous.

Beautiful poetry, as usual.
Visions of a snowy crystal night fall as I was reading.

Excellently done ThisDiamond!

sensational imaging and sound bites...enjoyed!

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.
