laying in bed
11:11
my eyes numb from too many movies
i'm dancing around life
with this used philosophy
am i dream?
is what i think of life
just a five second fantasy?
it all feels too real right now
which can sometimes be misinterperated as insanity
i'm all but insane
with this used philosophy
i'll breathe in your life
and tell you it's worthless
a slave to possessions
a slave to corporate america
with this used philosophy
i'll say the words that have been said for years
and you'll whisper you're regrets
as if i could remedy your life
but the car has left without you
and without me
so you'll cry
and i'll walk home
with this used philosophy

Sometimes we overrun ourselves ....
but how powerfully you communicate your emotions.... awareness survives.

You're supposed to make a wish at 11:11...
maybe a wish for something new.
But then, the older, used things
can be quite comfortable sometimes.
