Paradise’s missing piece

Swam within the seas washing myself
In tears aged from times long ago.
Walked within the deserts that once were
beautifully grown gardens.
Touched the skies that tales said
kept angels and heaven held high above our heads.

From all I’ve seen one image stays in mind
reflected off all the surfaces before my eyes.
The image of myself stood alone within the scenes
a shadow of time living amongst the loneliness
in his own little paradise missing the finishing touch.

Times a vicious sandstorm building upon the pain
tearing through the wholeness of the soul.
Within every move sin’s rattle within the mind
No goodness could defeat the cause
losing you the missing piece of the puzzle
where the heart used to be a hole still remains.

“What happens when we die”.
“That’s a question asked where the meaning is never found
only theories thought by many”.
That how do we still remain in this place without cause”.
“We all have the same fate no matter what the form or cause
bringing us to believe lifes worth living for”.

exquisite sentiments, but trust an old gal

I agree with the Goddess. You have so much going for you ~ and may I also add a heap of talent and a wonderfully intriguing and philosophical mind!

You have the power to sweep this reader into other worlds ~ to see and feel things new ~ and to revisit worlds that once were.

Love & Light,
Linda

May you have a wonderful year coming up!

Your piece has left me speechless and breathless and a bit on the reflective side.  I am so very drawn to this writing...thank you for allowing me the read.

I would rather my words fall upon deaf ears than a closed mind...
