A Gentle Man Called Toerag

How gentle is the hand that writes
Love upon these pages of blue
Spreading laughter and cheer galore
Tracing a smile on each of you.

If when you feel a little down,
Search for our very own Toerag.
You’ll be in for a real treat
From that wonderful scalawag.

With each anecdote or insult,
Flung at ole LongJhn or Balladeer,
You can bet he flings in friendship
Never meaning it as a jab or jeer.

However well he plays the clown
There are times when he drops the mask
And gives us words that show a heart
As beautiful as one could ask.

Laughter and love, family, friends,
Making life better and good health -
These things are important to him,
The scales used to measure his wealth.

At Christmas time and through the year
Our friend Toerag is quite a gift!
Raising spirits is what he does
Even when his own needs a lift.

Merry Christmas Toerag

Oh thank you both for such a sweet write...everyone here has been a blessing and good friend...My health is not good, I'm fighting as hard as I can...but I do feel better knowing you all have been thinking and praying for me....thanks again all of you sweet PIP folks, there are very few days that Suthern and Mysteria haven't written me to check up on my health, (or lack there of), and have even offered to come and help me if I needed it, and this I will always remember...and....
ROTFLMAO at Balladeer and his "genital" comment....for you folks that don't know what he's referring to?...It's something he doesn't have...

Some people are just one-of-a-kind....it's appropriate that two such people should write about a third....

....but I'm wondering, which is it --- gentleman or gentle man? I guess either one kinda works...and kinda not! But that's how it goes with one-of-a-kind.....

Gosh, I don't know whether to laugh or cry ~ heck, it appears that I am doing both!
I guess I must be north polar! ~ or is that "bi-polar"?!?

Yes, our beloved Toe Jam is near and dear to all of our soles, I mean "souls". He's a clown that lifts us up, tosses us around, and has us rolling on the ground. Then his genital baby toe takes over, and the beauty, wisdom, and sensitivity of his words touch the hearts of us all.

Toe, you have two very special ladies who are speaking on behalf of all of us. You are loved, admired ~ and lusted after! lol

Humongous big Christmas kiss and a hug that will bruise your manly ribs,

P.S. I send prayers up for you every single day, my friend. You may be outta sight (in more ways than one!) ~ but you are definitely not out of mind! Remember that!

Suthern and I both don't really excel at "da dumming" like our resident greats, Kit and Balladeer, but we figured for Toerag we might give it a shot for a card.  It was fun doing for a person we both respect and think a great deal about, as do many of you here.  It is our Christmas wish to have him well and NOW Santa!   Maybe we can add him to our prayer list along with a few already on it?  Merry Christmas everyone from the Suthern gal, and the Northern gal.

When the lady mysterious
Asked if I'd care to write
This ole gal was delirious
For the subject was right!
And so I'm glad Toe liked his card
I hope his Christmas is great
I know this past year has been hard
But Toerag is first rate!!

Thank you, Sharon... it was a pleasure. *S*

And thank you, kind friends... for joining us in wishing the best to one of the best. *S*

Toe, my friend... I sure hope Santa leaves plenty of answers for your doctors... Get well soon.... and it will be a happy new year for all of us. *S*

Thanks everyone... so much... Merry Christmas!!

Ladies, this is a wonderful tribute to our dear and trusted friend. He certainly is one of a kind. He's a real friend to us all. He has cheered me up plenty of times. Thank you both for writing this for him.

And, Toe, I wish you all the best with your health. My thoughts and prayers are always
with you.
Hugs to you all,
Ethel

A wonderful tribute, to a wonderful man Sharon and Ruth!

Toe, I hope you're feeling better, and thank you for all the smiles you share around these blue pages. You're a sweetheart, and I although I don't get a chance to tell you that often, I'm glad these ladies gave me the perfect opportunity.

Hoping everyone has a safe and happy holiday!

Best wishes and big hugs to all,
/Kit
