A Perfect Dream It was amber passing in subtle shades of a dream And, reality rested in it's delicate form A perfect moment, a perfect breath, in perfected time In perfect harmony in our perfect storm... How I loved, just loved you, in all that light Loved, God I loved you, under a star filled night Understand, I'm going a mile back to remember you, My Friend To where your eyes will dance with those candles again... And ... So I roam the aisles of that nighttime beach And, to where the only truth was where my hands could reach I replay, relive you under the most finest sky Oh, where the rain it never touched you and I... I can surely recall heaven with every glimpse of you seen When there under those waterfalls hidden among angelic greens It's surroundings of colors that only nature knows this deep And, you and I found it, we did, within sacred sleep... I find the peak of certainty when I need to feel you near Sighing each time to the photo that displays itself here And, I catch myself looking twice just to see you once more To remember just what I am living for... Oh, we sure knew destiny before it was ever found Just made a little clearer with your hand the sun wrapped around And, I still know just what the night was made of The perfect dream, the only dream, I taste love...
