I like how your heart twinkles
with roses for me,
from across the sky forest,
and i can make eyes
right back at you,
safe in my own canvas,
to shake my bootie hot
and make mush
of the tall mantree
in his plaid,

too many trees weep
wet between us

winter's a rough one
and barely a day goes by
without the heart longing
for what fools like us
still hear in the echoes of whispers,

let's dance our sunshadows
together,
in a merangee of mangoes,
from across
this cracked dancefloor,

spin me silly you wildman
and rock me hard dizzy

you're a crazy one !!!

tap your fingertips upon
my long legged stilettoes,

look
but don't touch me yet

just give me a wink wink
and let me feel beautiful
still strutting high headed
without losing my love pride,

i can't let you
take me..... just yet,
though our extensions
reach high,
in the quake of desire,

you're magical
as i watch from afar
(for now)

i think
that i would love
to touch you
sometime

but i stand better poised
without meeting you,
your eyes laced with kryptonite,
(and i haven't the strenght
for the pain again)

maybe our last leaves
will do the dancing for us,
meeting high in the crosswinds
shaking in their wintercoats
sealing us within them,
with a late evening snow kiss.

(inspired)

Michelle, this is terrific -- I love the frankness and honesty of it and yet it was dancing at the same time.  Happy Holiday!   .......jo

Enjoyed the flirtatious tone of this, the lover's dance of it -

You're all heart goldielocks, and that's the best part.

Nevermind the crazy part....it's what's in your basket that counts,
and yours is always so ripe and refreshing.

May your holidays be filled with wet ink.

I wish you love, always~  Hugs Michele~

Aye, 'tis surely true.

A totally great piece of writing, but I enjoyed these words most.

blow me away lines....

maybe we should all take the times to dance among the trees...

who now realizes what he had and lost....smiles and hugs
