Written for Prince of persia sands of time ps2 i liked the game
Sands of time

Time, a vicious lonely storm-ridden tide
Tearing throughout the wholeness of us all
Caught within the currents I await the ageing of my youth
Till I awake wrinkled old
Regretting never letting go
Those I loved but never told

Time, Takes away those moments
No second change is granted
Should have told you let you know
I loved you then and I still do

And as you died upon the ground
My tears fled why must time torment me!
Ripping at my soul never giving me any change of hope
And at the end time went back to old

You were brought back to life
Yet you never seemed to know
The loved we shared the love we held
All memories erased except my own
Stuck in too deep emotion to know…

Does the wise man sit and wonder why?
Or always knew the answer.

"Time, Takes away those moments

wonderful stanza...

"cast me gently into the morning, for the night has been unkind"
