Calling A Christmas Face

Every day should be like Christmas...
someone said that, but I can't, not now.
Not every day, let any day be like Christmas,
even Christmas, or if that can’t come to pass,
then any day at all will do.

Christmas has more faces than Sybil,
surely there’s one for me. Which, which?
The beauty of schiz is that sometimes
you can lure a spirit from it, one drawn
out of many, if you focus on the name.

Merry, Merry, I want to talk to Merry now!
Merry, can you come out? I need you.
Show me your face, share your smile.
It’s drawn from the season’s madness
perhaps, but so is this Silent night I’m in.

I wish you, Merry Christmas, but if
you won’t come, God rest you, Merry,
and may we share a Joyous Noel.
Joy, where are you? Merry didn’t come.
Bring Joy to the world, or sing Glad tidings.

Glad, are you there? Glad? Merry? Oh, Joy!
Anyone come out for me, or send me Peace,
or Rest me, but let nothing me Dismay,
‘tis the season to be Jolly at least,
maybe sing a Glorious song of old....

Yes, there’s a change, I see it coming:
Love and Joy come to me, perhaps,
and a Merry Christmas too... but no,
it is another face, so very old – the first.
Hallelujah! Sing, Hallelujah, sing for me!

Ed

Sometimes there are other places
the tall joy of a tree and boy with seaweed
in the pathway
but there is always wind and waves to change them
and soon they are not what they meant

The trick is in the eyes

From a poem of mine called, In the Eyes.

And I'll see for you of Joy, Merry and Faith!
But most of all...I sing of Hope.
A most beautiful write Ed...
Have a blessed holiday season.

You and Martie should collaborate...

you both bring tears to the eye,
truth the scene, but leave
hope in the heart...

In this reaching out there is love. And love is coming back to you. You see ... even misty eyes can hold the beauty of a rainbow.

Beautiful write.

Love, Margherita

I've read this several times... and with each reading, I'm left speechless... you hit this one that far out of the park. *S*
