~* Happy Endings *~

Dismal dawn found her yet again
Walking silky sands of silence.
Life worn shores lay before her feet
Core chilled and crusted in salty tears
Meshed with freezing kisses of ocean mist.
Bittersweet wisps of wicked wind
Whistle through the opening in her heart.

Her deepest fantasies whispered
In each laboured breath of despair
Cause soft shoulder heaves of reflex
To heart sick slicing crimson stillness.
Wishful sighs amidst ancient love sounds
Play songs of sadness on her soul’s strings.

Night falls on but sweeter melodies.
Feeling cheeks now tender kissed in promise,
So softly touched by a sensual tide that still loiters
She bends to draw her heart out
Under a bejeweled silver moon of hope.

Dolphins dare now to dance azure floors
Awakening a new day of perhaps,
Where romance luminescent of stars
Eventually might sift grains of sand
Into a diamond-studded fairytales
All with happy endings.

Thank you all for suffering through another cry for happy endings for those that wish for them.  Seems life never quite meets some people's expectations, that is why I never expect   Merry Christams to you and yours.
