such drivel, and
just as i feel the warm
it rains

too bad  moments don’t last forever

slow and steady
love-lines re-appear
with the pat-pat on my back
cold

tingles in rattle of my skin
and i dig my fingers deep
to grasp the sand in clench

pressing pelvis in the grain
how simple the earth
in its rotation, and mine
i raise a brow
to smile

let it pour, let it pour

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.

Oh wow...
you got mail!

Now that?  A treasure
in itself...

but this poem?

A monument to YOU...

Thank you, you are all too kind. I appreciate all of you.

Maree

into this night i wonder, it's morning that i dread, another day of knowing of, the path i fear to tread.
