Moved from a shack to a barn

Night too, is cold
and longs for the warmth
of a sun it has never seen

And so
folds itself into a bell
of fragile silence

Even the trees
deep in frigid slumber
are holding their breath

God, you just described exactly how I feel.
I wish I could see the Still Night alongside you, Eddie . . .

This was beautiful in a melancholy sort of manner.
