Verse play unfolding intention
Neatly…lovingly
Offering a feast
From a book
Hand-silk screened swans
Like pharaohs on white Arabians
Swimming in fire
I can taste his surround
Like evening air
Licking light from his mouth
We curl in spearmint grass
Keeping cosmic balance
Pure spiritual form….
Wondering if I died
Or walking reborn
It is the flowers that considers words
New cultural heritage
Fall festival of new pages
Dog-eared passion
Into riddled explanations
Trotting like a story from Hamlet
I unleash an endangered species
Only to find prenatal cries
Of a child....
Voice of desire
Full throated and waiting
For clear breasted suckling
Softly whispering
“teach me”?
Laying my heart on the chest of life
