The Bean Stalk

I step my steps on every walk
Searching high and low the bean stalk
The one that climbs into the sky
For my wings will not fly that high

Issues made of mental tissue
One that waves the brew of coup
I walk into the dark of mind
And unafraid for I am blind

I tap my cane of five senses
Irregardless of expenses
I pay my way each day a pinch
And it eats me up inch by inch

But since there’s no alternative
It’s that or be vegetative
And so I’d climb into the sky
On bean stalks that would catch my eye

The end of which I’ll someday find
If the chaos will be so kind

Nope, I cannot see you as a vegetatin' punkin'. Nor can I see you with a cane. You have wings on your back and you don't even realize it! You can fly to the top of the tallest beanstalk! ~ Up, up, and awaaaay!

Bringing the water can,
some extra beans,
and I'm sure we can look in the alley
and find enough fertilizer
to keep those beanstalks high, and mighty!
