Women friends
they fall in love
cooing over glossy parts
hold each other's hand
and tend
to each other's shadows'

spark

in a blind consistency
of loyalty
and 'what is right'

what just might
could possibly
(go wrong)
if they should
come apart

and a part is much too long

like the infamous
cattails
braided rugs
and rockers wail
a panic -
running
where to hide?

as the rock
reveals the nail

bedded

in the chinks of sail
shredding
in
too strong the wind
Women friends
are lovers in

necessity
of what thou art
(I could never be...)
chagrin
and the wish I could complete
the start
of what
I'll never be
like you
m'friend
how great thou art.

How can I become the heat
of the snake's inhale--

a tale -

juxt-infinity

a grin...

Of women:

kissers

softer arms

comfort

in the place of harm

a fort

a foxhole in the sands

answers to

what we fight for...

the music just beyond the door

irrevoccably slammed shut.

*  *  *

So we fell in love, we did

The way that women will

we were

locked in elbow unison

"not without a fight"

we grinned

constant smiles anew of this:

"women are well worth the fall"

and reason why the birth of wings

marred the angels backs

I saw

Michael sainted before throne

in the stance of one atoned

with the quills

a-feathering

growing as I watched...

Seems to be the inside track on what was observed but not known! Cool...

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
