Day One

My honey always looks fantastic,
but when she takes that special
effort and fixes herself up
really nice, she is perfect.
Last time I picked her up she
was wearing her new blouse and
black skirt with a slit up the
front and she was a living doll.
Her hair was down and everything
was looking just right.
She said to me, "Oh honey, you look a
little worried, because I'm so beautiful."
I said, "Are you looking for another man?"
And she said "I'm not, you're my man."
"So why should I be worried", I replied.
"You being beautiful is nothing new,
in my eyes, you've been beautiful
since the first day I met you."
