My heart has beat a million different ways,
a million different messages.
Making a million different memories.

Yet only a mere few have placed an ear upon my chest
hearing the trueness beneath,
taking the time to understand the meaning.
Even less have given of themselves
enough to keep the rhythm true.

I go about my day
taking notice of characters contained within a cloud,
the careless, beautiful rage of my ocean,
and the wonderful differences of each person that passes by.

I take better care of me now.
I pick and choose more wisely,
And I still smile.  Yet all the while;

I hear it and feel it
this, that beat, that is you.

__________
Thinking about a conversation from a while ago, about the intimacy of listening to the beat of someone's heart, so thank you for the inspire CPH.

seems like they tip their hat and run out the door too fast, too hear the true beauty  beating beneath the mere skin of the woman  they had just touched; one like you

Very beautiful...
And yes, listening to a beating heart is amazing.
And to feel it...
or to listen to someone breathing.

Susan, this really struck home with me, sweet lady. If you only knew how many times I have longed for someone to "really listen" to my heart beats in my lifetime and to "know" the inner of me. So many have only took the time to know the surface. That is one of the main reason that I fell so in love with my Gary....he has taken the time and the care ...and the love.... to really get to know the "real" me. And, to beat all, he still loves me!! LOL
Love ya, Lady.
Hugs,
Ethel

Steve,

I will now ask you publicly to leave me alone as I have done it several times in private and you continue to find new ways to stalk me.  Do you want me to tell the truth about what happened?
