~*~

A moment came absent of the lock
Which hung on it’s curved bangle by the door
And winter brought the heavier winds helping shoulder
Creeking back the hardwood in a single power greater
Releasing the seasons, and whispering tears tied at wrist
Vigilance freed, on wings of silver trim streamer to skyward
Now weathered, dreams took a cautious step into his garden
Visible the hidden of his heart brought out to sunshine
And her hair grown long and lustrous fell upon his shoulder
Making silent silken rivers in its wake, urging time
And he faced the long and lonely knee jerk of spoken
Without banter, without pressure and naked in truth
Dispassionately prevailing winds of reason, told flat and hard
Unnoticed in the sway of blossomed meadows wild and hot cheeked
She stood close to his mouth, looking up into twin pools of indigo deep
Letting go of everything but mercy and chance
Settling his soul in two words blown against his lips
Beautiful man

Oh my, Kathleen, your writing does make me speechless.
All that I seem to be able to say, is absolutely beautiful.

Ah, now...THIS...
a study...
here I thought I knew
and yet you paralleled the meaning
of your title
so very well...

so very well, in fact, that innuendo
and innocence blended into wonder...

and I wonder
if I shall ever dig beneath
your intrigue...

you are a delightful, splendiferous poet...

so when is your book going to come out?
