Our "Dovie" is resting comfortably and sleeping peacefully in a hospital room.

She will never read this page, nor hear the words I say
She will never see me down on bended knee to pray
She will never hear my sigh, nor see my spirit weep
She no longer knows of pain, for she is fast asleep

She’s no longer troubled, like this weary soul of mine
She is on a pathway that I’ve tried so hard to find
She’s beside the spring of life, where prestine waters seep
She has found tranquillity, for she is fast asleep

Do not cry for White Dove, rather celebrate her life
She taught many souls to search for peace within their strife
Do not fear the darkness as the evening shadows creep
She sees heaven’s light ahead, for she is fast asleep

She will never know the measure of her poets’ love
She won’t see the words we've written for our precious “Dove”
She knows that her spirit lies within our Savior’s keep
And this is all she need to know, for she is fast asleep

She has left a legacy upon these sheets of blue
She's the one who opened up a spiritual page for you
She has climbed the mountain side, on ridges sheer and deep
And now she's there on mountain top, and smiles in her sleep
Be at peace, sweet White Dove
Sleep on, sleep on
Liz

Elizabeth...maybe she will not read, today...
perhaps, elsewhere, she knows, in peaceful dream.

You have no idea what that also said to me as well Liz.

I will send a link to Rae (her Mom) to read this to her with the others, (as well as an card from the card site here with it to her mail with a copy to you) as Becka had a better day yesterday, and hopefullly today is better still?  How beautiful you are Liz, and your words are only an extension of who you yourself are.  Bless you sweetie.

She has done all that you said Elizabeth and more, this brought tears.

Rebecca is a very special person and friend, and all that have had the opportunity to not only read her, but speak with her and know her, and be touched by her in anyway...have been blessed.

I am one of the many.

Thank you Rebecca.

Thank you Lord!

and Thank you for this Elizabeth

Maree.

I will never forget the loving support I received from Rebecca a few years ago when I needed a friend. She kept the flames of hope alive and thus helped us through until we could put things in perspective. She is an angel, a true angel. She is a dear friend.
One of the pillars of passions. Deeply spiritual. loving and caring.
Love you, White Dove.

I didn't have the pleasure of knowing White Dove as some of you folks have, and I'm deeply sorry for this loss you suffer, but if you can, please remember, death doesn't take away, the relationship continues....

May you always and forever remember the blessings God gave in White Dove....

Thank you Liz, for this wondrous tribute and message

See, just look at that, she is alive in your words....

Hugs and Love to you my friend....

Liz, I also didn't get to know White Dove, but I am blessed to be meeting her through the words of you and the others here. She is a very blessed lady to have the love of all you PIPsters.

This is not only a loving poem to your friend, but a wonderful tribute to her life as well.

My thoughts and prayers are with White Dove, as well as with her family and her enormous amount of friends. May God bless you all.
Heart Hugs,
Ethel

Even though I've been here awhile, I don't really know Becky personally, but from what I have seen of her poetry and replies, she is a truly wonderful person. She and her family are in my thoughts and prayers!
