The Hedonist I am a flagrant hedonist Each path I find some pleasures twist But pleasure is rhetoric friend Each human speaks a different wend I satisfy my mental urge Where others see but human scourge Each flower that has lost desire I sprinkle with a kind admire Light a light of candlelight To stay the darkness of the night Till its soil a gestures toll Breathe a breath of soul to soul It takes a pinch of brine of sea To stir the embers of the we And lo my pleasures smile each day That lights the pleasure of my way I am hedonist through and through The mask is up to you to view |
