I looked in my purse to find
the miracle of wealth
Not there, I found my insurance card
for the miracle of health

Can you see a miracle?
Can you hold it in your hand?
Will it give you fortune or fame?
Make you known throughout the land?

Or will it cause no ripple
as we journey from life’s pier
Sometimes we look so hard for it
we don’t realize it’s already here

I looked at my friends to find
the miracle of love
And found the power of prayer
for a lady named WhtDove

This one gave a sweet smile, my dear friend.  Not just for thoughts of Whtdove, though those are very important, but also for more simple things which grant their own definitions of wealth.  The lost glasses perched on the head, granting a wealth of vision.  The lost license found in a pocket, granting a wealth of travel.  There are many simple things we often lose, only to discover that complexity was the cause.  Simple things are simple, only 'lost' when we oft-times complicate them.

Keep well where ye be.  I'll remind the sun (and maybe the heat come August) to visit you.

I will second that emotion and found myself also digging deep to find a prayer for the "Dove" too.  Beautiful sentiments Sharon.

Sharon, I really felt this one. Very, very
touching poem. I love it. My prayers and thoughts
are also going up for WhtDove.
Hugs,
Ethel

Thank you all for your comments. I find it harder and harder to write lately. But this actually was inspired by a conversation with Mysteria about Becky. Sometimes it's hard to  continue to believe in miracles...until you come face to face with one.

You are right in that miracles happen every day and we simple do not see them - each moment given to us is in itself a miracle -

May blessings be upon you and your friend -

Hugs - Susan

If you only believe they will come.     I am smiling large today and hope we all hear even better news from Rae today.  I know how much she means to you, (your addicted ICQ buddy,) and words now can be so hard to find, see, that's why I called in the first place.  Funny when we (in general) are at our worst it seems we all call out to the one we reject, when we feel he lets us down. Becky's Mom said something to me that really hit hard yesterday and that was that she and all the family believed in miracle and the hereafter so was not afraid as she knew they would all meet again in an other place and time with no sorrow or pain will exist again. This is from a mother than has already lost her son.  Her Mom actually gave me a stronger renewed faith in "whatever happens," but hopefully it is all good.

Sorry got babbling, you know I can.

Enjoyed very, very much!  Lots of little miracles around--the trick is just to find them!  A keeper to remind me!
