yes the morrow had pidgeons
dancing as crows over troy
and you pretended to be helen
with a bit of skin more
than she ever did

said the men on the ground
should see a piece of heaven
before the blade took their eyes
and you were as close to god
as they would ever be

so it was your duty
to the panting of their minds
to ease the pain of death
with some return to dreams
for those who would begin

the rowing man's endless sleep
_____________

dark  (scribblenote:  fall of troy and the suggestion of coins on the eyes to pay the boatman..etc etc..)

I like when you explain.

grinning here

"and you were as close to god
as they would ever be"

not grinning now

that is as good as it gets

something sexy 'bout that

One question though, I'm not understanding why the coins for the birdman?  Why did they do that?

Lee J

there was a boat that took the warrior to the other side..to their afterlife..
and an oarsman that moved the boat..
the coins were to pay the fare

thanks lady friend
