Inside the laterns, the lights have grown dim, snowy winds blow, a chill is in the air, sparkling frost forms upon my skin, naked I stand once again, bare. Dancing they come, whipping, twirling, swirling, curling, and now I am numb, My heart has eaten its last crumb, Into the darkened wood I run, with scarlet cloak around me, These eyes see, they believed, blindess comes and now has found me, What thoughts were true, honest, escape like vapors out of my mind, I grab hold of its hands, and we dance all night, slow. What was so alive, has now become dead, a garden frostbitten does not grow, They come, bringing their warmth, and we dance for hours on end, memories are all that I posess, my companion, comfort and friend. Fading, I let go, growing cold, eyes becoming dim, once again, I feel and see the snow, until I am dancing with your memory, once again.... I can love and burn skin, there is warmth to be felt, dance with me, make the snow melt, light the laterns, will summer come? shinning in? What does the future hold? Who knows?, but the wind..... Come,love all of me, mind, body, spirit..feel my passion, taste of me, be filled completely! |

Summer dances can be for those who love and live...summer dances for dreamers that dream of beauty...that love without obstacles and hinderance...my dancing shoes are in the box..clean and ready for use..will i get to use them?... A quite brilliant poem...if a little sad...but still the best... Goldenrose.xxxxxxxx |
