did you forget the store
in the alley
where the suggestive things
were on the walls
and you blushed
at being there

or the amber eye woman
that fitted you
for leather
and you said you needed more
to cover your hesitation
but she took more away

or the wolf at the door
with his claws on marble
making that high heel sound
as he took his time
following your scent
did the blindfold frighten you

or was it the jazzaphone
slow exotic control
that made you move that way
even when you saw yourself
in the mirror
and didn't like the woman

that used to be a proper lady

and you said

well it wasn't me then, cause true vegetarians won't wear leather , even for the dark one
try harder

Cacoethes...

quote:
"A bad custom or habit; an insatiable desire; as, caco["e]thes scribendi, 'The itch for writing'. --Addison."

Oh, I'm confused...bad?  Writing?  I think Addison could have found a better description for a bad habit...

Excellent imagery...again, still...

D - the amber still glows - in the night -in the dark - in the quiet when proper sleeps - the low roll of the growl - the need for the moon light - and the shadow kisses in the mist - damn - this one reaches the core -

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.
