I am the elder flower
dried and torn
among the pages

And pollen, my love
is drawn from my breast
a pregnant sigh

across the hours I have known.

So
I never inhale
for too long

for the way I want you
is vindictive to my passive pretense

and they fly past
Every time
to newborn lilies
and waiflike thorns.

An insignificant death
in the morning black

a loss
for yet another moon

~You have not yet opened petal lashes
Iris of golden blue
to blink

~drink the sunlight enough to see

I am before you

every dark morning pause

ticking over....

He loves me
He loves me not....

Picking myself apart.

Gemma~

Nice to see you!

I couldn't say it better than JM if I tried.

Outstanding!

Ever notice that the petals get smaller as we approach our hearts?
Maybe we just don't give ourselve's the time to heal ...
