Hidden in the corner,
Gazing from afar, staring.
Bid me come and follow,
Tempting from the shadows.
Dimming the light beyond,
Laying bricks, dividing me in two.
Shelter ripped from above,
Heat, burning desire. Satan.
Calls my name, and haunts me in the night.
I turn away and bow my head,
To my knees I fall and pray.
I weep and call out.
Protect me from it all,
Lord, break my fall and gather me.
Put out the fire and cast away my dweller,
He is not welcome, nor his temptations.

He is always in the corner, but our strength beats him back.  I hate being catholic.  Excellent write.
