Beauty Blessed
(Island of Amour)

Rode out another tropical storm
on my sail around the world trip.
Finding myself among a group of
luscious islands, I dropped anchor,
in hopes of companionship.

Southern comfort kept me company upon
the open sea, but when sailors reach land,
they yearn for a womans company.

Saw no sharks in the clear waters,
so I took a swim to the tranquil shore,
to see what adventures I could find,
the beauty of the island to explore.
Graceful palms in island breeze waved
as I stepped onto the sandy beach,
coconut crabs were in abundance,
tonight they would be a treat.
Then I noticed footprints, small
and narrow like a womans, but
I wasn't sure, until I heard a
womans voice from among the palms,
calling me ashore..."Aloha, and
welcome to the island of Amour."

She was from the island of Tahiti,
and she would often journey here,
to enjoy the islands serenity,
and the waters crystal clear.

She invited me to join her,
I more than gladly complied,
on the island of Amour her
beauty blessed my eyes.
