What I Can’t

I cannot stand the thought of death
It takes away my very breath
It throws a shroud my field of seem
And dims the light of what I dream

And dream I must to dull the ache
To stop the pain that rues my wake
The fantasy of rainbows walks
The ecstasy of lovers talk

It clips the wings on which I fly
It turns the sky to darker vie
It blows a sand storm full of grime
That grinds you up in age and time

It brings my dance to slower pace
And fades the rose upon her lace
It dims the vision of desire
Gone illusions of admire

It is the winter after fall
It is the snow that covers all.

Winter is great when it is becoming very hot, like here in Australia.  Snow I dont think I could bare though a gentle inbetween would be nice.

Come see the beautiful veil of snow, Sy...
it is not so bad...

and death?  It will take its holiday...
and spring will rebirth your wings...

Having already died this year myself, you have nothing to worry about my friend! Waking up and facing life, is the scary part of our existence! lol

Ah, yes. I understand. There is a difference! Death itself is not to be feared ~ but the process in getting there can be the pits!

When our time comes to go back Home, let's hope God just beams us up! ~ Okay, Scotty?!?
