No Matter

No matter how I pound this dust
It never seems to form a crust
It stays upon the mist of moor
And never does it form a core

For time dissolves it in the sea
The enzyme of its mystery
And I can only ply the real
And sigh and witness that I feel

To sigh the echoes not enough
Whatever formed this slippery stuff?
And dance upon the pit of dread
Until my dance is done and dead

I did not ask this paradox
This form of deadly chicken pox
Eating of my mind and bone
Even if I turn to stone

I can but only vie its end
And cry where flows this river wend?

You've pounded the keys sufficiently, my friend..

26,000 times plus...

Congratulations on such a milestone, Sy...
I hope you find ways to pound them 26,000 times more...
