He turns off the radio and listens to the music
Not frenzied beats or pulsating rhythms, but
the slow suction of the blues, drawing, pulling him in-
swimming in the womb of her, as if perhaps submerged
in a warm jacuzzi filled with soothing antiseptic
balming a cut in an anapestic beat, ta ta dum
as she calls out to him, he dreams her songs,
He only dreams of what he knows and since he is blind,
He dreams not in sight, but in touch, and in taste,
And of course, he dreams in sound, her sound, the blues.

the blues - sweet soul sounds slippin'- cradling the wounded soul - gotta love the blues

Susan

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.
