I have one wish this Christmas
For a world of peace and love
I would like to send my message
Upon the wings of a white dove

I will embrace my fellow man
No matter what his race
I will make each child happy
With a smile to light each face

I will be the bearer of a gift
With something special to impart
My gift of love is bountiful
And comes from deep inside my heart

No more poverty and hatred
I will change grey skies to blue
I am determined to make a difference
As I spread the word to you

So let us build a bridge
Stretching far across the world
Open up your hearts
And let love be unfurled
