Made steam in fragrances of butterflies
Creeping gloss on mirrored vanity replies
Imbued in natural light, a jungle flight

Be bold, curiosity draped soft as silken wing
Imagination takes this whisper into lung to sing
Discovering my own song yet unsung, undone

Submerging inch by satin inch
Into the culture of our mingled mind
Massaging wanton thoughts of spirits blind

The strangeness passes over in a breeze
There leaves a warm sensation in its please
To drum within the coral of each other, happily to smother

Wild the call that settles there to leave my touch
Communications traveled in the brush of hush
And drum, the fragile pulse that calls you come

Cocooned into the afternoon of where we were
And carried into night that same soft flight
That draws me into warm and bathes my soul delight

lovely images, warm thoughts, fun infiltration of rhyme

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

I have from the very first time reading you always enjoyed the way you spill such vivid images over emotions and thoughts in your works.  This one is no exception.  A beautiful piece of poetry laced with so much to see and feel.  I truely enjoyed.

TD,
Love the imagery!  Good to be here to read your poetry.  It seems like I'm so busy anymore that I have hardly time to turn around!
     A pleasure to read.
