I cleaned the fridge today
(it had been ages!!)
and the family cheered !!
the cows came home
and called the eggmen three,

some chicks had hatched
in their duration,

i hiked up my skirt today,
and exchanged torrid glances
with trucker joe, riding
bareback, as he stuffed me
whole, between his matching
pockets,

i lost at love today,
and let it print incisions,
like rings around
the sacrificial tree,
as dreams shred clean
along its feet, cemented,

i wrote a poem today,
as leaves fell down
abundantly, filling
in my neverending pieces,

sylvia inhaled;

on a chilly dawn
of '63,

the ache of her
inflections,

and sighed
its demons
upon release,

i pray she heard
her heart sing free,

as it played its lullaby
beneath her.

You weave such interesting and vivid pieces together, and end up making perfect candy.

Hey inked, I absolutely love this and what you're producing lately, you've really got me in a spin with your lush imagery and unique phrasing.
though I felt the repetition of "i" in each stanza a little jumpy but in all I loved it and I want more.

Excellent...Sylvia would have loved this, as well as Anne would have...

Well written - now, will you clean my frige?  I'm afraid it will reach and and pull me in should I try -

Michele,

as soon as I saw the title, I knew he had something to do with this, which is a good thing.  Of course she heard, she is alive within your words.
